In the course of the International Orchestra Institute Attergau 2018 two concert programmes will be thoroughly prepared under the guidance of members of the Vienna Philharmonic and performed in two concerts (see bottom).

The supporting programme includes individual lessons, excursions and leisure activities in the surrounding area of St. Georgen, and the 'traditio-nal' visit to the Salzburg Festival for a rehearsal of the Vienna Philhar-monic.

The Institute Orchestra will be led by two distinguished violin-ists/conductors from the ranks of the Vienna Philharmonic:

Prof. Helmut Zehetner, section leader of the Vienna Philhar-monic second violins and professor of orchestral conducting at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, and Chris-toph Koncz, principal second violinist of the Vienna Philhar-monic and internationally acclaimed conductor, who will lead the orchestra from the first desk.
